  • Defending a claim of for automatic unfair dismissal and a protected disclosure detriment claim, with allegations of sexual orientation discrimination, acting for Executive Board of a Trade Association  
  • Defending an unfair dismissal claim for reason of redundancy and a claim for a protective award, acting for large limited liability company with employee forum.
  • Defending gross misconduct dismissal with alleged breach of the ACAS code claim by two employees in a fight with allegations of racial abuse.
  • Defending unlawful deductions from wages claim following pay review to decrease pay award.
  • Defending a sex and race discrimination claim against a company where the Claimant has alleged she was not promoted because of her sex and race. Acting for a plc in this matter. 
  • Defending a TUPE transfer claim on a service provision change and the scope of the organised grouping of employees and principle purpose, through to the EAT.
  • Reviewing in full a staff handbook for companies within a group of insurance providers including affiliated contracts of employment and policies.
  • Drafting and advising on the implementation of a bonus scheme, commission scheme and share option scheme for a service provision company.
  • Advising on maternity leave and shared parental leave rights of the partner (not working for this firm’s client) whose terms were less generous than the statutory provisions.
